HR operations support services.
MCI Consulting manages onboarding, offboarding, leave, attendance and employee records on a daily basis for companies without an in-house HR team.
Delivered by MCI Consulting, part of MCI Group of Companies.
Ongoing HR administration.
In a company of 20 to 50 employees, routine HR administration often has no clear owner. This work includes setting up new hires, removing leavers from company systems, tracking leave balances, monitoring attendance and keeping employee records complete. MCI Consulting manages these tasks on a daily basis, so each one has a clear owner.
Each task is straightforward on its own, but the work is continuous and arrives without notice, and errors often come to light months later in a dispute or an inspection.

Common questions
What does HR operations support cover?
The service covers onboarding and offboarding, leave and attendance administration, employee documentation and record keeping, and the day-to-day queries that arise from them.
Does the company still need an HR manager?
Not for the administration, which MCI Consulting handles. Decisions about people, pay and structure still need someone in the company who is accountable for them, which is why several clients combine this service with HR advisory.
What is required when an employee joins?
The employer must issue written key employment terms within 14 days of the first day where the contract runs for 14 days or more. Documentation, system setup and record-keeping obligations also begin at this point.
What is required when an employee leaves?
Final pay and leave encashment must be processed, system access closed, and records retained for the required period after the employee leaves.
Can MCI Consulting correct leave balances that are already wrong?
Yes. The setup begins with a review of existing records, which is usually where discrepancies are found, and corrections are made as part of the setup.
Is this the same as payroll?
No, although the two services operate together. Payroll computes and pays salaries, while operations support handles the employment administration around it. Either service can be engaged on its own.
