MCICareer Services

Recruitment in Singapore since 2007.

MCI Career Services places permanent, temporary and contract staff in eighteen industries, including operational, professional and senior executive roles. Its consultants are organised by sector, and each one specialises in a single industry.

How the shortlist is built.

MCI Career Services is one of the largest recruitment firms in Singapore, and its candidate database is one of the most extensive in the country.

MCI Career Services aims to put forward only candidates who are well suited to the role. Each consultant specialises in one sector, so candidates are screened against the actual requirements of the role rather than against keywords.

Each search starts with a standing pool of candidates who have already been screened, rather than with a new job advertisement.

The hiring process.

A single consultant manages each brief from the first call through to placement. You are not passed between a salesperson and a resourcer.

The consultant reports progress to you at each of the five stages below.

01

Take the brief

The consultant establishes the role, the team it joins, and what a successful hire looks like to you.

02

Source and screen

The consultant draws on the standing pool and an active network, then screens each candidate against the brief.

03

Shortlist

You receive a list of candidates who meet the brief, with interviews scheduled around your availability.

04

Offer and placement

The consultant manages the offer, any counter-offer, and the start date.

05

Aftercare

The consultant follows up after the start date, and replaces the hire if the placement does not succeed.

Why choose MCI Career Services.

01

Quality of match

Consultants assess each candidate's motivation for the role as well as their skills. A CV does not show what a candidate wants from their next role, so the consultant discusses it with them at interview.

02

Compliance built in

Contracts, work passes, payroll and statutory obligations are managed and audited in line with Ministry of Manpower regulations and TAFEP guidelines.

03

Speed of deployment

Where a pool of screened candidates already exists, staff can be deployed within days. This allows employers to cover a sudden vacancy, a peak season or a new project at short notice.

Frequently asked questions.

How quickly can a role be filled?

In sectors where a standing pool is maintained (warehousing, retail, F&B and back office), roles are often filled within a few working days of a confirmed brief. Specialist and senior searches take longer, and the expected timeline is confirmed at the outset.

Which hiring model is appropriate: permanent, contract or temporary?

Permanent hiring suits ongoing core roles. Contract and temporary hiring suit project peaks, seasonal demand and leave cover. A consultant will recommend the model that fits the circumstances, even when that means a smaller engagement.

Does MCI Career Services handle work passes?

Yes. For hires who need a work pass, the application and compliance are managed in-house with the group's immigration specialists, so the employer does not need to coordinate them separately.

Is there a replacement guarantee?

Yes. If a placement does not succeed within the agreed period, the hire is replaced. The specific terms are set out in the engagement agreement.

How do job seekers apply?

You can browse the live roles and register your details, and a consultant will then match you to suitable openings. The service is free for candidates, and the role and salary are always confirmed before you commit.

What are the fees?

Fees depend on the type of hire, because permanent placement, contract staffing and managed temporary staffing are structured differently. The terms are set out in writing before any commitment.

Discuss your hiring requirements.

Please send the details of the roles you need to fill. A consultant will reply with a hiring plan and an estimated timeline.
